CHILD HEALTH NURSING (PAEDIATRIC NURSING)

Child Health Nursing or Paediatric Nursing is the specialized area of nursing practice concerned with the care of infants and children during wellness and illness. Child Health Nursing requires knowledge of normal psychomotor, psychosocial and cognitive growth & development, as well as health problems and needs of children from birth to 18 years. It also encompasses preventive care and anticipatory guidance.
